Boot Mounted Stationary
The stationary for this rubber encased seal is a standard looking rubber 'boot' stationary.
Has a 'Garter Spring' round the Small O.D.
There is a 'garter spring' around the O.D. at the back of this seal, to ensure a tight fit onto the shaft.
Monolithic Head
The Sealing face of the seal is an integral part of the monolithic head, which is made of one piece of material.
'O' Ring sealing Stationary
The stationary part of this seal has an 'O' ring seal.

Standard rubber encase seal; no metal parts are visible
Rubber Encased Fristam® Seal With Metal Backing-plate
The seal can be distinguished from the other rubber encased Fristam® seals because a metal backing plate is visible on the rear of the rotary.
